The importance of measuring your user experience.

After months of design, layout, and development, you finally have your website active, but you have a problem: your website does not have a good user experience, and worse, it does not convert.

The problem? Your website is not providing a good user experience, so you need to take action to identify where the issue is on your site.

And at Iboo, we have created a list of the metrics you should consider to measure your user experience. Take note!

User experience metrics:

1. Entry pages: it is an essential metric to analyze your user experience and to know which pages the user has arrived through.

This metric will also allow you to know which pages generate the most traffic to your website.

2. Page CTR: in this case, the CTR is the number of clicks received by the buttons or calls to action on your website.

To know if your user experience is in good health, it is extremely important to make a comparison between time intervals to understand a before and after. Sounds complex? In simple terms: compare the clicks received by the buttons on your website in one month versus another month.

3. Use of searches vs. navigation: this metric will allow you to know the quality of the content architecture of your website. In other words, the difficulty that users have in locating information quickly and intuitively.

4. Conversion rate: it is one of the most important and favorite metrics of every digital marketing director. This metric measures the number of users who take a specific action, such as filling out a form, downloading an ebook, or making a purchase.

Without a doubt, it is an essential KPI for any brand because it is the indicator that shows whether your business is meeting the established objectives and providing a good user experience.

5. User retention: what is your website’s ability to attract users? This metric measures the number of people who return to purchase and trust your brand.

When the percentage of users who make a repeat purchase on your website is high, it implies that the user experience is good.

6. Site errors: another metric you should keep in mind to measure your user experience is the errors that users make during the conversion process.

For example, leaving incomplete information when filling out a form, or when the user attempts to make a purchase while leaving required fields blank.

These factors will help you determine if the user experience is optimal on your website. And at Iboo, we believe that user experience is extremely important in your online marketing strategy because it will allow you to know if you are close to achieving your goals.

If you want to reach your target audience like a true professional, at Iboo we have the team you need. Let’s take action!
